Our Team

Pastor Rissler and his family have been at St. John since 2015 and in Strasburg since 2011.  Jason and his wife Heather have 4 children.  Three are currently students at Strasburg School and one is a student at Kent State.   The Risslers moved to Ohio from Eastern Pennsylvania.

Jason is a graduate of Rosedale Bible College and Eastern Mennonite University.  He is dualy credentialed the Mennonite Church USA and the United Church of Christ.  He has over 20 years of pastoral ministry experience.

Jason's hobbies includes cheering for the Strasburg Tigers, Cleveland Browns and Gaurdians and the Penn State Nittany Lions.   He enjoys the outdoors: hiking and gardening and taking walks with his dog Mae.
